ABOUT THE ROMAN LYCURGUS CUP
The Ancient Romans created glass goblets that were used only for special occasions. Because they were glass, only a few have survived to today. These special goblets were made with a glass that changes color in different lighting. The green and red goblets below are actually the same goblet, just with different lighting. I CAN STATEMENTS
Students will learn SHAPE, so that they CAN draw half of a ROMAN GOBLET and cut along the line. Students will learn about TEXTURE, so that they CAN glue TISSUE PAPER to their goblet. Students will learn about PATTERN, so that they CAN paint repeated LINES or SHAPES with gold paint. |
