About the Sarcophagus

The sarcophagus was detailed with symbols, drawings & stories. The symbols were thought to give the dead spiritual protection. I Can Statements • Today I will learn about LINE & PROPORTION, so that I CAN draw the CONTOUR LINE of a SARCOPHAGUS. I’ll know I have it when my paper folds divide the space properly to help me space out the drawing. • Today I will learn about REPETITION, so that I CAN create PATTERNS inside the sarcophagus using repeated LINES and SHAPES. • Today I will learn about BALANCE, so that I CAN draw a sarcophagus that has ASYMMETRY. |
